Reasons for a Smile Makeover

There are many ways you can maintain your natural teeth, such as brushing with a fluoride paste or using mouthwash regularly, wearing a mouthguard at night to prevent grinding, improving your diet, stopping smoking and/or using an electronic toothbrush. However, for some people, the damage or deterioration is too extensive, and they may feel the need for our assistance to restore their smile.

Smile makeover appointment

We will initially examine your teeth, take pictures of your natural teeth and make moulds. This process is to ensure we can create the most natural-appearing veneers or crowns possible.

We will make mock-ups of your new teeth from wax to ensure they look and feel natural before we go on to create the final replacements.

Your teeth will be thoroughly prepped and prepared before the veneers or crowns are applied. While you are waiting for these permanent replacements, you will be fitted with temporary crowns.

At the next appointment, we will be ready to bond your new teeth into place. Every tooth will be individually adjusted to ensure your comfort and full functionality.

You will need to ensure you look after your teeth and gums to maintain your newly fitted teeth and will need to visit us regularly for maintenance reviews.
